Yushiro and Tamayo’s Promise May Be Fulfilled One Day.

While it remained a one-sided love until Tamayo’s demise, it’s stillone of the most genuine and faithful loves in the series. Yushiro never told Tamayo his feelings because he knows the profound grief in her heart for her family and that she can’t forget them and be willing to love again.

Tamayo does feel affection for Yushiro, but it’s not stated in the series if it was romantic. However, it is revealed in theDemon Slayerofficial fanbook thatTamayo and Yushiro promised that they will be together in their next life if they ever reincarnate. What makes this couple so painful is that Yushiro never stops loving Tamayo, since it is revealed in the last chapter of the manga that, even decades later, he only finds comfort in painting Tamayo and preserving her memory, hoping to reunite with her again if she is reborn one day.

9Tanjuro & Kie Inspired Their Children

Tanjuro and Kie Formed a Happy Family Before Tragedy Arrived

Tanjuro and Kie Kamado were a sweet and cozy couple who formed a loving home.They had six children, including Tanjiro and Nezuko, and despite not having a lot of money, since their income depended on charcoal sales, they lived happily together and taught important lessons to their kids that shaped them into kind-hearted people.

Tanjuro had a skinny and frail body as he suffered from an incapacitating sickness, but that didn’t stop him from engraving their family traditions on Tanjiro and Nezuko. Kie also passed on to Nezuko the importance of caring for the family. Both their teachings keep inspiring their children even after their deaths. Forming such a warm family in the cruel era in whichDemon Slayer’s story takes place makes Tanjuro and Kie certainly one of the best couples in the series.

8Inosuke & Aoi Balance Each Other Perfectly

They Eventually Got Married and Have Descendants.

Even if Inosuke Hashibira and Aoi Kanzaki don’t have that many interactions together in the story, their personalities fit well, and they balance each other. Aoi handled Inosuke’s stubbornness and craziness when they first met in the Butterfly Mansion, and she forced him to rest, being one of the few people to whom he seemed to listen. Later, they become closer to each other, andAoi even cries over Inosuke’s injuries after his fight against Upper Moon 6.

It is implied in the latest chapters of the manga that Inosuke begins to fall for Aoi’s caring side, blushing and smiling affectionately after she prepares a meal specially for him. Also, even after moving into the Kamado house, Inosuke went constantly with Nezuko to visit Aoi.Inosuke and Aoi’s love blooms over time, and it is revealed in the Demon Slayer’s epilogue that they got married and have a great-granddaughter called Aoba.

The Sound Hashira’s Marriage Is Based on Trust and Care For Each Other

The sound hashira Tengen Uzuihas three wives because polygamy is a practice that has been part of his family for generations. Tengen made it clear that his wives are the most important thing to him and that he seeks to protect them at all costs, while also recognizing their strength as shinobis. Although he has a high sense of responsibility as a hashira,Tengen’s concern for his wives is greater than his mission as a demon slayer.

The dynamic of the relationship between Tengen, Suma, Makio, and Hinatsuru demonstrates the affection and trust they have for each other, proving thattheir love is genuine even though it was an arranged marriage at first.The official fanbook of the series even revealed that Suma deliberately chose to take her sister’s place as a candidate to marry Tengen. The best part of their relationship is that they value and take care of each other deeply, finding the peace that their life as shinobis couldn’t give them, and having a soothing life together and a big family.

Tanjiro Inspired Kanao To Express Her Feelings

Tanjiro Kamado and Kanao Tsuyuri had a couple of interactions that indicated a blossoming romance. Tanjiro was one of the few people to whom Kanao opened up and trusted her feelings, and he prompted her to make decisions for herself and express her emotions freely.

Although she initially had no interest in associating with him, Kanao changes after being inspired by Tanjiro, and her subsequent concern for his well-being after the Entertainment District Arc and during the fight against Muzan shows that she clearly appreciates him and has become someone special for her.Tanjiro and Kanao slowly come to love each other and eventually marry and have a family together, having two great-grandsons who strongly resemble them.

5Zenitsu & Nezuko’s Love Started From Their First Encounter

Zenitsu Conquers Nezuko’s Heart After Striving To Be a Better Man

Despite acting as a girl chaser,Zenitsu genuinely falls in love with Nezuko at first sight, even in her demon form. Zenitsu often sat beside Nezuko’s box and talked about many things, and he even stole Shinobu’s fishbowl for her and took her to a flower field. Demon Slayer’s fanbook revealed that Nezuko remembered how Zenitsu clung to her box to protect her, which he did only because it was something precious for Tanjiro, and was fond of the person who saved her, but she thought it was someone different from him.

However, Nezuko gradually understood that Zenitsu and the boy in her memory were the same person. One of the memories that Nezuko recollects from her time as a demon is a vivid image of Zenitsu smiling while gifting her a flower bouquet, which shows that it was something that made her happy. Even if Nezuko’s impression of Zenitsu wasn’t the best at first, after Tanjiro calls him out for acting pitiful,he decides to be better and become someone that Nezuko could love.Eventually,Zenitsu and Nezuko get marriedand have great-grandchildren in the future.

Later they had 5 children they raised to be capable, with a strong spirit and loyalty to their cause.

They loved each other, and Amane wanted the best for Kagaya, taking care of him after his health worsened. Kagaya also had immense trust in Amane and asked her to partake in the corps tasks on his behalf. The biggest proof of Amane’s love is that she willingly sacrifices along with her husband and two of their daughters to guarantee the success of theirplan to kill Muzan Kibutsuji.

Yorichi Tsugikuni met Uta, a girl who was alone after losing her family to a plague, so he offered to live with her and keep her company.Yorichi fell in love with Uta for her bright and talkative personality, which helped him settle down after leaving home and wandering without aim. Later they got married and lived happily and were even expecting a child, until Uta and the baby in her womb were killed by a demon.

Yorichi could only experience joy after meeting Uta. It is stated in an extra in volume 21 ofDemon Slayer’s manga that Yorichi was very happy while he walked to the field and paddies, holding hands with Uta, and that she was the only girl he ever loved. Uta also understood him, even if he didn’t show his emotions.Yorichi and Uta’s relationship was a tragic love story; however, it shows what true soulmates are, as they were destined to be together; this is proven by the last chapter of the manga, which reveals that they met again and formed a family after reincarnating.

2Iguro Obanai & Mitsuri Kanroji Show Love Between Hashiras

Mitsuri’s Cheerfulness Brightens Obanai’s Life

Iguro Obanai had a horrible past; he was raised as a sacrifice and had to live with the constant reminder of the trauma he lived through; however,Mitsuri Kanronji was a light that dispelled the darkness in his heart. Mitsuri showed him, through her sincerity and cheerfulness, the beauty of life, and Obanai fell in love with her even after being trampled by all the women he had met.

Mitsuri also likes Iguro for his kindness towards her, and she enjoys his letters and going out to eat with him, but she mistakenly believes that’s how he treats everyone and not that she is special to him.Neither of them reveals their mutual feelings until the end, when they vow to marry in their next life, showing an emotional and tear-jerking scene as they die in each other’s embrace. This display of love makes them one of the best relationships in the series. They finally get to be happy together, since the epilogue shows that they reincarnate and marry each other.

1Akaza & Koyuki’s Love Was Stronger Than Anything

Koyuki Brought Back Akaza’s True Self

Akaza’s real name was Hakuji, a desperate boy whose life changed after meeting Keizo and being introduced to Koyuki. Koyuki was sick, and Hakuji gently nursed her back to health. He unknowingly reminded her, while casually talking, that she could be hopeful for the future. This touched Koyuki’s heart, and after a few years, they got engaged. Hakuji also really loved Koyuki, and her death broke his will to live, losing what tied him to his humanity. However, after becoming a demon and losing his memories,Akaza never lets go of his feelings for Koyuki.

Akaza never ate any woman and his blood demon art manifests a snowflake-shaped compass which is the same shape as Koyuki’s hairpin. Akaza’s bond with Koyuki was the last thread connecting him to his humanity, and thanks to her, he could return to who he was. Their love was so strong that Koyuki even chose to go to hell with him after he died. Their relationship, though tragic, is the best showcase of unconditional love in the story, which makesKoyuki and Akaza the best couple inDemon Slayer.
