The Sims 2has a lot of interesting pre-made Sims to play as. This makes it ideal when a player can’t think of a good storyline, but still wants easy drama and excitement. Some of these households are exclusive to one ofTS2’s six worlds, making them a little location-specific. For example, the fiery Caliente’s can’t normally enter the neighborhood of Veronaville. But, every main map has access to smaller areas like Downtown, Bluewater Village, and multiple universities.
What makes the default Sims inTS2so compelling is that there aretons of enemies and rivalriesthat have left bad blood. Sometimes these are even one-sided, with one Sim hating another, while the other one actually likes their abuser. In other instances, there could be all sorts of complicated romantic webs, leading to jealousy or betrayal. For some Sims, there could be other issues like a lack of money, the loss of a loved one, or having to juggle both school and a social life.
No Pain, No Gain
Loki and Circe Beaker are scientists living in the abnormal neighborhood of Strangetown. Their experiments have infuriated other locals, like the equally knowledgeable Pascal Curious. Within the optional Family Bin is the Singles household, containing Loki’s sister, Erin Beaker. She is a lot more calm and trusted by the community, which might allow her to broker some peace.
Also living in the Beaker home is Nervous Subject. The Beakers claim he is a roommate or close friend, but in reality, Nervous is more of a prisoner. He is thelong-lost son of neighbor Olive Specter, who may have been abducted as a child. Olive herself is unaware of the connection, but if she finds out, she may call in a favor from the Grim Reaper to execute Loki and Circe.
9The Summerdreams - Spicing Things Up With Forbidden Love
A Little Bit Of Trickery
The Summerdreams are implied to be magical fairies, much like their namesakes in Shakespeare’sA Midsummer Night’s Dream. They claim to have cast a spell to make the young teen Monty and Capp’s heirs fall in love, but mechanically, the Summerdreams are not supernatural Sims.
The masters of the house are Oberon and Titania, raising their two children, Puck and Bottom, inTS2. The younger sister tends to be a brat, but seems respected by the other children of Veronaville. As a young teen, Puck pines for the affection of Hermia Capp, and may be willing to go to extremes to get his way.
8The Newsons - The Kids Will Be Alright, Maybe
Four Or More Part-Time Jobs, Please
TS2: Apartment Lifeintroduced an unlikely supernatural in the form of witches. Marrying or befriending one will allow access to the Magic World, where the Newsons are among the Family Bin options. The family name is a pun, as the household contains no adults and only teens and children.
The Sims Re-Release Has Not Been Going How Fans Expected, As Crashes And Bugs Plague The Sims Once Again
The Sims 1 and 2 have been re-released to the delight of many long-time fans but frequent crashes are stopping some from buying the games.
The oldest two siblings, Gavin and Ginger, will have to cover all the slack until they grow up. Teen Sims are limited to part-time jobs, which only pay peanuts compared to a real career. It will be a struggle to buy food and higher grade furniture, which caneasily make Sims miserablein both of the first twoThe Simstitles.

Brandi Broke has fallen on hard times with the recent death of her husband, Skip Broke. Now she is left to raise two sons, Dustin and Beau. But, little does Brandi know that Skip left an extra surprise - a third child is already gestating. And with Dustin getting cozy with neighbor Angela Pleasant, hopefully this is the final Broke baby for a while.
The Broke household is even more troubled due to the lack of funds inTS2. It seems that they spent the last of the money on luxuries like a pinball machine and large pizzas. It might be a burden to explore Downtown and any public lot due to fares and babysitters.
6The Frat Brothers - Dating, Pizza, Juice, And Exams
Blowing Bubbles To Get High
Urele-Oresha-Cham House is one of the three default options when attending Sim State University inTS2: University. While the house can fit a huge number of students, it currently hosts four. This includes nice guy Kevin Beare, ladies' man Castor Nova, vain narcissist Ashley Pitts, and party animal Joshua Ruben. The four have bonded over the bubble hookah, which may cause them to get so high they could float away.
What makes the Frat Brothers even more dramatic is their interconnection with Tri-Var Sorority. The women from that house may often find themselves in the company of Urele-Oresha-Cham. It is even possible to go to entirely different campuses to party, drink juice, and maybe one day study.
5The Caliente Twins - Too Hot To Handle
Double The Fun, Double The Danger
Nina and Dina Caliente are the dual temptresses of Pleasantview in the base game ofTS2. Dina had previously married Michael Bachelor from the first game, possibly for money. However, with no funds left, he either had none or it had all been spent. Dina is now pursuing Mortimer Goth, whose wife disappeared because she was supposedly abducted by aliens.
Both sisters are also interested in neighbor Don Lothario, who is engaged to Cassandra Goth. Nina seemed to have the head of her sister. Little do the two know that there is a fourth contender in saucy maid Kaylynn Langerak. Once all of this comes to light, slapping and shouting will be inevitable.
4Don Lothario - Womanizer And Possible Alien Accomplice
One Is Never Enough
Don is the most notorious lover inThe Simsfranchise, even earning himself a wholeTS4: Lovestruckcampaign. He is engaged to Cassandra Goth, who genuinely might love him. However, Don was the last person to see Cassandra’s mother, Bella Goth. With rumors that aliens kidnapped Bella, it is unclear if Don was in on the plan.

The Sims 2: Legacy Collection brings the base game and most packs to Windows 10 and 11. But, some content is missing and glitches are still present.
Things for Don are already chaotic with so many lovers. But, this will only get more heated by going down the aisle and truly joining the Goth clan - a home that is infested by ghosts and other curses. Jilting Cassandra might be the worst option, though, as her work as a mad scientist might blow up in Don’s face and kick off the start ofThe Sims 3.

Glarn’s daughter, Jenny Curious, thought that was pretty hot and had two more kids with Tech#9, teen Johnny and child Jill. The family changed their name to Smith to blend in.
Across town, Jenny’s brothers are also working on all kinds of “real science,” including phrenology and telekinesis. Vidcund is the most serious of the three, while Lazlo isn’t likely to shout at anyone about his findings. Pascal is the most fortunate, as he has also been pollinated and will soon give birth to another alien hybrid.

Patriarchs Consort Thebe and Patrizo Monty have been at each other’s throats for possibly more than 25 years;TS3DLC makes it unclear of the exact timeline. They were once close friends, but both fell in love with Contessa Capp. When she picked Consort and inducted him into the Capp house, the two former friends became bitter enemies.
These families are another direct reference to Shakespeare, being shortened versions of the two primary families inRomeo and Juliet, the Capulets and the Montagues.
But, due to the proclaimed meddling of the Summerdreams, young Juliette Capp and Romeo Monty have fallen in love. Players can keep the hatred going and pick a side, or even encourage the budding romance. Besides the starting houses, many more Capp and Monty family members are tucked in the Veronaville Family Bin.
