The debut of the National Level Hunters and the mysteries of the system will take some of the attention away from Jinwoo’ leveling up, and the real plot ofSolo Levelingwill start moving. Solo Leveling Manhwa Chapter 113-114
Cha Hae In tests her strengthto join Jinwoo’s guild by fighting his shadows with the purpose of being close to him.But after easily defeating an enhanced Igris that has the Demon King’s Longsword, she requests to face Beru. Beru might be a general rank at the moment but was originally a powerful beast created to kill hunters, so even though shadow soldiers became weaker than when they were alive once they were extracted, Cha Hae-In wasn’t a fair match for him if he went all out.
Jinwoo gave Beru the command to defeat her without harming her. Because of this, Beru wanted to show Cha Hae In just how much stronger he was to make her lose the will to fight. However, the fight escalates, and Jinwoo steps in to stop Beru. This short sparring session showcases Cha Hae In’s strength, proving she is stronger than what she was capable of showing in the Jeju raid, but it’s alsoa great moment as it serves to highlight her interest in Jinwoo and how they start to bond.

Solo Leveling Season 2 Is Done, So Can Anime’s New Manhwa Live Up to Its Expectations?
Solo Leveling Season 2 has come to its end. With fans looking for another hit manhwa adaptation, will The Beginning After the End live up to the hype?
Cha Hae In’s tells the Architect she’s Jinwoo’s friend, and she went there to rescue him. This is heard by Jinwoo, who has just woken up after seeing Ashborn’s past and getting his black heart, and he saves the hunters from the Architect. While this moment is small, it’s an endearing interaction between Jinwoo and Cha Hae In, which continues to build their relationship as she is willing to put her life on the line for him. This gesture also represents more to Jinwoo than it seems.

7Beru Clears an A-Rank Dungeon For Jinwoo
While some of the most hilarious moments have been skipped from Solo Leveling’s adaptation due to time restrictions in the previous season,Beru fighting the Arch Lich is a great moment that many manhwa readers can’t wait to see animated.Beru’s admiration for Jinwoo knows no limits, as he is not only the strongest shadow soldier at the moment, but the most loyal one too. Beru would do everything for his leige and gracefully took the task of taking Sung Jinwoo’s place and helping the Knights Guild clear an A-Rank gate during the Ahjin Guild Arc.
The Dungeon’s boss was an Arch Lich who, as undead, knows about the shadow monarch and is surprised to see his army attacking them. However, when the Arch Lich requested to speak to the Monarch himself, Beru just showed off his superiority by telling him off and defeating him with one blow. What makes this moment funnier is that Beru says one of thebest quotes inSolo Levelingjust to mock the Arch Lich.
6Jinwoo Challenges the World For his Family
Solo Leveling Manhwa Chapter 148
Sung Jinwoo was always caring a lot for his family, as he carried the responsibility of providing for his little sister after his mother fell ill and his father disappeared at a gate. He puts his life on the line as a weak hunter and, after reawakening, he fights to find a cure for his mother’s disease. But later he becomes powerful enough to protect them from anything, which lets him show in the International Guild Conference Arc that he will fight anyone if his family is threatened.
“I Will Protect My Family Even if It Means Turning All the Hunters in the World Against Me” - Sung Jinwoo
Jinwoo hadn’t seen his father in years and didn’t know if he was alive, but still didn’t care about making himself an enemy of the world after his Sung Ii-Hwan was accused of being a monster and killing the National Level Hunter Christopher Reed. This isn’t only one of the coolest moments for Jinwoo in the story, as he stands out in front of all the nations present at the conference, but he also defends his father just like Sung Ii-Hwan fought Hwan Dong Soo when he threatened Jinwoo, showing their father-son bond.
5Jinwoo Saving Japan and Fighting the Monarch of the Beginning
Solo Leveling Manhwa Chapter 137
The Japan Crisis Arc takes place in theSolo Levelingmanhwa from chapter 132 to chapter 139, showing a dungeon break in Japan, which has become vulnerable after losing many S-Rank hunters in the Jeju Raid. 4The Great War and The Shadow Monarch
Solo Leveling Manhwa Chapter 128
In the Double Dungeon Arc, after agreeing to access the data in his memory by the Architect,Sung Jinwoo gets access to see what happened in the past to the original Shadow Monarch Ashborn. Jinwoo witnesses a large-scale battle between the beast army and the rulers. In this war, the beasts were badly defeated at first, but the Shadow Monarch resurrected them as shadows and attacked once again, restlessly defeating the silver soldiers one by one.
Jinwoo saw that the Shadow Monarch had managed to turn the situation around with his Shadow Extraction’s power, which was on a whole other scale than his own, but the arrival of the Demon Clans changed everything as they attacked the shadow soldiers. This way, Ashborn wasn’t on the magic beasts' side but was betrayed by one of his allies. This flashback sequence finally shows a sneak peek at the real story ofSolo Leveling, showing a part of the scheme behind Jinwoo’s powers and setting the stage for him getting Ashborn’s Black Heart and awakening an even bigger strength.
3Jinwoo Vs. Hwan Dongsoo
Solo Leveling Manhwa Chapter 147
Hwang Dong-Soo is a Korean S-Rank Hunter member of the Scavenger Guild in America who has appeared several times inSolo Leveling’s anime, showing that he holds a grudge against Sung Jinwoo for killing his brother. But despite his strength,Hwang Dong-Soo uses dirty tricks, and doesn’t care for anything to get the revenge he wants, to the point of kidnapping Jinho to make Sung Jinwoo fight him and disobey his Guild Master’s orders.
Hwang Dong-Soo is undoubtedly strong as his powers were increased by Norma Selner putting him above any other Korean Hunter, but he wasn’t a real threat to an enraged Jinwoo.Jinwoo brutally kills and uses shadow extraction on Hwan Dong-Soo, who is named Greed, proving that he doesn’t care about the moral quandary of resurrecting a human being anymore, as with Kim Chul, who became Iron. This fight is one of the most awaited moments in the story as it gives Jinwoo a new powerful shadow soldier, since Greed had a Commander rank, equivalent to Beru.
2Jinwoo Vs. Thomas Andre
Because of Hwang Dong Soo,Sung Jinwoo fights against Thomas Andre, the topnational level hunterwho leads the Scavenger Guild. This is one of the best fights inSolo Levelingwhich could be enhanced in animation,as it’s an all-out battle where the shadow army fights the Scavenger Guild hunters, and Thomas Andre is a tank who can increase his defense and attack, being strong enough to destroy the area around him when he releases this power and withstand the Demon King dagger used by Jinwoo.
Thomas Andre also has, capture, an ability with the pull of a black hole that could affect Jinwoo, who would have been sucked in if he didn’t use his Ruler’s Authority skill. Jinwoo is incredibly mad because of what Hwan Dong Soo did to Jinho and doesn’t hold anything back, progressing into a one-sided beatdown. Ultimately, despite his rage,Jinwoo breaks the bones of Thomas Andre, and his guild is defeated, but he still spares all their lives.
1Jinwoo vs The Architect

The Double Dungeon Arc was teasedwith an Easter egg in the final episode ofSolo Leveling Season 2.
This is one of the major battles inSolo Levelingand will shape the story going forward, redefining the true enemies of the series, the reasons behind the leveling-up system, and giving Jinwoo the possibility of seizing the real extent of his power as the new Shadow Monarch with Ashborn’s black heart. This makes the fight against the Architect the most important moment to be adapted inSolo Levelingseason 3.
