A breakdown of content in Silent Hill f’s Deluxe edition

Silent Hill F Standard Edition & Pre-Order Bonuses

Silent Hill F’s Standard Edition Costs $69.99

The Standard edition ofSilent Hill fwill cost $69.99. On its own,the Standard edition just includes the base game. If you pre-orderSilent Hill f, you will also get several in-game items, including a cosmetic, an equippable item, and some consumables. This includes a White Sailor School Uniform, which can be used to change Hinako’s appearance from the game’s Change Costume menu. This also implies that there might be other unlockable costumes in the game. The item’s description makes it sound purely cosmetic, so it won’t have a big impact on your gameplay experience.

As of right now,it’s unclear exactly what exactly the other items do in the game. According to thePlayStation Storelisting, the Peony Omamori is an equippable item, but what effect it has isn’t specified. The other three items, the Abura-age, Divine Water, and First Aid Kit, are listed as consumables. We can assume the First Aid Kit will recover some of your lost health, but it’s unclear what the other items are used for. The store listing also notes that these will be accessed through the Bonuses menu, and you will need to unlock them by progressing.

Silent Hill F Deluxe Edition & Pre-Order Bonuses

Silent Hill F’s Standard Edition Costs $79.99

TheSilent Hill fDeluxe edition is $79.99 and comes withthe base game, a digital soundtrack, a digital artbook, and a Pink Rabbit costume for Hinako. I could see the digital artbook being an interesting addition, given the unique visual designs that are typically on display inSilent Hillgames. That said, there aren’t any substantial add-ons in the Deluxe edition, such as a DLC expansion or items that affect gameplay.

The Deluxe edition includes all the same pre-order bonuses as the Standard edition, and it comes with 48-hour early access. Early access is probably the biggest draw of the Deluxe edition, especially given that players have beenwaiting forSilent Hill fsince 2022. However, it is a little frustrating to see that companies are continuing to lean into the trend of forcing players to wait a few days just because they can’t afford to splurge on the upgraded version of a new game.
