TheDungeons & Dragons-based RPG has been tirelessly supported by the studio since its release, butthe developer has announced their next game would not be a sequel toBaldur’s Gate 3. However, there has been no official announcement as to what Larian’s next game could be.

What prompted Vincke’s trip down memory lane was a video from YouTuberVeteran Joystick, which chronicles the up-and-down journey of the Belgian studio. Larian’s story began in 1996 with games likeDivine Divinityleading to the 2014 sequelDivinity: Original Sin, which has seenrenewed interestthanks to fans discovering Larian throughBaldur’s Gate 3.
