Summary

Bri Muller and Elena “Ellie” Dubaichhave been feuding for most ofBelow Deck Mediterraneanseason 9, and it seems like their drama will never end. Ellie serves as the second stew on the Mustique, with Bri working under her as the third stew, which, as Captain Sandy Yawn noted, is an entry-level position. While their squabbles began when Bri and Ellie had their eye on deckhand Joe Bradley, their feud began to affect their work.

Chief Stew Aesha Scott and Captain Sandy have attempted to mitigate the issues between Bri and Ellie to no avail. Neither of them will budge, and it affects their ability to run the interior during charters with guests. Bri and Ellie are far from Captain Sandy’s only crew issues inBelow Deck Mediterraneanseason 9, with Chef Jono Shillingford struggling early on andBosun Iain Maclean failing repeatedly. Will Bri and Ellie work it out, or will Captain Sandy let them go?

Ellie & Bri Continue To Fight Despite Their Chat With Aesha

They Can’t Make Up

Despite their chat with Aesha, Ellie and Bri continue to fight. The chief stew is usually excellent at mitigating issues in the interior crew, but Aesha explained onBelow Deck Mediterraneanseason 9 that dealing with Ellie and Bri was the most difficult managerial situations she’s been in. Every time Aesha talked with Bri, she took her side, but when she listened to Ellie, she could see her side too. The chief stew couldn’t tell which of them was in the right.

Aesha can’t keep mediating Ellie and Bri’s contentious relationship and needs her stews to work effectively together.

Ellie and Bri consistently try to curry favor with Captain Sandy and Aesha, with Bri bursting into tears every time there’s a minor conflict. Aesha is a patient boss, but it’s clear her patience with Bri is nearly spent, especially as she continues to make mistakes in the laundry. ThoughAesha tried to talk with Ellie and Bri separately, the feud has remained strong.

Ellie & Bri Can’t Find A Middle Ground

They Think The Other Is Out To Get Them

Chief Stew Aesha has asked Ellie and Bri to try and be professional, but they can’t find a middle ground. Bri’s “burn book,” which she claimed was to keep track of her laundry, made Ellie angry, asEllie believed Bri was trying to frame herfor mistakes. Additionally,Ellie might have neglected to clean the cabins on purposebefore leaving on her break, leaving Bri to do extra work before the guests came back from their excursion.

Despite promising to remain professional and work together, Bri and Ellie’s inability to find a middle ground proves they can’t work together. Their feud affects their ability to serve guests effectively, and Captain Sandy needs to take action. Additionally, their issues stress Chief Stew Aesha, who can only do so much work in a day.

Who’s In The Wrong? Ellie Or Bri?

Both Are Wrong

It’s difficult to say whether Ellie or Bri are in the wrong after a season-long feud. Ellie was rude to Bri from the beginning and resented her for having an interest in Joe. She was also concerned with Bri’s respect for her as the second stew. However, Ellie also might do things like not cleaning the cabins to sabotage Bri, which is wrong.Bri seems bad at her job, consistently making mistakes and letting her emotions distract her. However, Ellie undoubtedly treats Bri disrespectfully, which would be frustrating to deal with.

Ultimately, it seems both Bri and Ellie are in the wrong. They can’t seem to get along and actively sabotage each other. Therefore,Captain Sandy might need to fire bothof them onBelow Deck Mediterranean. Hopefully, this will be a lesson Bri and Ellie on how to deal with conflict and difficult relationships after their time onboard the Mustique.
