First off, yes people, I know it’s not calledBit.Trip Runner 2. The game is calledBit.Trip presents: Runner 2 Future Legend of Rhythm Alien. I knew that without having to look at the official webpage as a reference (though I did look at it just now to verify I didn’t mess it up).Bit.Trip Runner 2fits in headlines.Bit.Trip presents: Runner 2 Future Legend of Rhythm Aliendoes not. Those are the sad facts of life.

Now on to the news. First up,the lovely Matt Harwoodhas bestowed upon us the first track fromB.Tp:R2FLoRA, and it’s pretty awesome. It’s not quite as upbeat as some of the stuff he let me hear a few weeks ago, but I still really enjoyed it. I feel like Mr. Harwood is going for something weirder than just a easily digestible theme here, and it’s paying off. You can listento it here.

Second up is the hint from Gaijin gamesthat they have a Wii U, andare planning to develop for it. SinceB.Tp:R2FLoRAwas first announced, loyalBit.Tripfansthat first experienced the series on the Wii have been calling for this newBit.TripGaiden title to be released on the next Nintendo home console. I’d bet dollars to donuts that they’ll get their wish.
