Black Myth: Wukonghas its fair share of bosses to challenge. In fact, it has more than 100 bosses throughout its six chapters. Not all these bosses are necessary to progress and finish the game, but they can still be fun and rewarding to fight. While optional, Non-Void is a boss in Chapter 3 worth beating for the rewards alone.
Non-Void is a mini-boss and one of four non-bosses inBlack Myth: Wukong. He is adisciple of Yellowbrow, the final boss to beat in Chapter 3. To challenge him to a fight, players will need tostart an NPC quest. Non-Void isn’t the toughest mini-boss, but it will still require a good amount of effort to take him on successfully.

How And Where To Find Non-Void
Start The Snow Fox Quest To Engage In Battle With Non-Void
InBlack Myth: Wukong,The New Thunderclap Templeis where Non-Void calls home. He’s located in the left section. To reach this section, head to the Temple Entrance Shrine and enter the second building. Take the left set of stairs and continue left to reach a red building. Enter the building, take the right set of stairs, go around the veranda, and then take another set of stairs in the back. You’ll reach the left-wing courtyard where Non-Void is. Even if you find him right away, you won’t be able to challenge him quite yet.
Before you can face this mini-boss in battle, you’ll need to start and follow theSnow Fox Quest. Activate the Snow Fox Brush to transform into a fox. In fox-form, enter the arena, and the fight will begin.

If you lose in your fight against Non-Void, you won’t have to transform into the fox form again when approaching the boss a second time.
How To Successfully Beat Non-Void
Tips For A Successful Fight
Non-Void has a few attacks that can be pretty damage-heavy. Plus, in tribute to his name,he tends to go invisible quite often. When he goes invisible, he’s likely moving around, so keep alert and watch for where he ends up. Timing his teleportation is important to dodge his attacks. You can watch the YouTube video fromEsoterickkabove to get a good idea about his attack patterns.
When Non-Void is invisible,he’s also invincible, so don’t bother wasting time trying to attack him in this state. Focus on preparing for his attacks, which you’re able to see in the table below:

Backhand Jab
Non-Void attacks with a backhand punch. He briefly turns invisible before launching an elbow jab and then a palm attack in quick succession. Sometimes, Non-Void will only unleash the initial backhand punch.
Balls of Void
Non-Void launches one or several small projectiles at the Destined One.
Parry
Non-Void raises one leg and brings both arms in front of his pose. If attacked in this stance, the Destined One will take damage. Non-Void will then turn invisible before following up with another attack.
Qi Focus
Non-Void brings his arms together and unleashes smoke from his body.
Scripture Tornado
Scriptures are scattered around the arena and then form into a tornado that temporarily follows the Destined One.
As much as I like to use Immobilize in my battles inBlack Myth: Wukong, this Spell doesn’t work out well when used against Non-Void as he can easily break free from the effects. Instead, I usedA Pluck of Many,Cloud Step, and Quick Attack Combos the most. I also used myWandering Wight Spiritin this fight, but you canchoose any Spellsand Spirits you like.

Because Non-Void is so elusive, it’s important to keep on your toes. Use Cloud Step to avoid his attacks and deal some damage. If able, useCloud Step to engage in a Heavy Smash Attack. Use Transformations, which can deal extra damage and make beating Non-Void easier. If you time everything right and use your spells in quick succession, you’ll have no problem taking him down. Once defeated, you’ll get the following rewards:
TheNon-Void Spiritlets the Destined One transform into Non-Void andbecome invisible and invincible for a short time. Being able to turn invisible can help you escape some tough situations inBlack Myth: Wukong. Plus, the equipped effect of the Non-Void Spirit replenishes stamina when damaged.
