This Deadly Serum Poses a New Weakness to Symbiotes

Amidst the Chaos of The Venom War, the Serum Is a Dangerous Loose Thread

Symbiotes have a few known vulnerabilities, such as fire and sonic frequencies, butsome symbiotes have overcome these weaknesses. This has even been seen during the events of the Venom War, where Carnage has pillaged the Multiverse to amass power from different beings with gifts making them immune to symbiote weaknesses. This unique serum poses a new weakness to all symbiotes, butdespite its destructive potential, Black Widow destroys the doctor’s research and Sliver absorbs the doctors’ memories by eating parts of his brain.

Meet the King in Crimson: Marvel Reveals Carnage’s Ultimate Form

Marvel Comics reveals that Carnage’s years-long quest for ultimate power is destined to succeed, threatening the entire Symbiote hierarchy.

While the battle for Venom continues, the serum is an open-ended issue that could either pose a threat, or help Black Widow and the rest of the heroes fighting in the Venom War.With zombie symbiotes rampagingand Carnage on a path to god-like powers, there are a myriad of ways this serum could be used. After the events ofVenom War: Venomous#3, Black Widow believes her symbiote dead but a small piece of Sliver managed to survive, and with their survival, the knowledge of the symbiote-killing serum survives as well.

The Symbiote-Killing Serum Has the Potential to Both Hurt and Harm the Heroes

Could Black Widow and Sliver’s Knowledge of the Serum Aid in the Zombiote Outbreak?

Sliver brutally erases Dr. Frekk’s brain by eating away at his knowledge of the serum and tells Black Widow that the doctor will live but “not well,” and with his survival there’s speculation about whether the doctor will seek revenge on the duo. Silver and Black Widow have yet to reunite, but more pressingly, the Zombiote virus continues to ravage, claiming both civilians and heroes like Hellcat and possibly She-Hulk. It’s been shown that Anti-Venom can purge the symbiote Zombie virus, but another potential cure could be the serum that both Black Widow and Sliver have knowledge of.
