Summary
Bridgertonhas officially cast Yerin Ha as Sophie Beckett, and the Internet is overjoyed. Based on Julia Quinn’s books, every season of the show follows a different Bridgerton sibling as they romantically settle down with their partner. She was born out of wedlock and lived as a ward on her father’s estate, though she never had the opportunity to ensure a real connection with someone else. Her stepmother tormented her throughout her childhood, which grew worse after her father died. Despite her painful childhood, Sophie has maintained her good nature while working as a maid under her stepmother’s roof. It’s uncertain whether season 4 will follow similar plotlines.
