With the frequent introduction of new characters,Cookie Run: Kingdom’s meta is always changing. However, one thing has stayed consistent in that there are five Ancient cookies which can be found, and more recently five Beast cookies were introduced into the lore to parallel the Ancients. There’s also a slowly growing portion of Legendary cookies, and several rarities such as Special, Dragon, and Super Epic have been implemented in the last two years.
Ancient, Legendary, and Beast cookies tend to be the ones sought after the most. They’re also the ones most connected to the story ofCookie Run: Kingdom, especially Pure Vanilla Cookie and White Lily Cookie. However, how do these exceptionally rare cookies fare when compared to one another?

Awakened Ancients Are The Most Valuable
Pure Vanilla was once the best healer in the game,but eventually fell short in the meta in favor of others such asMystic Flour and Snapdragon. Though he’s still a decent choice for a healer, and is a good substitute for the cookies that outgrew him. The same can’t be said aboutDark Cacao, who doesn’t have much going for himother than his ability to cancel out HP shields.

White Lily and Golden Cheese have both fallen out of the arena metasince they were first released, but are both quite powerful nonetheless and can be very helpful in exploration or boss rush.Hollyberry is a bit of a hit-or-miss; in the arena, I find that she is often sidelined where she was once the norm in favor of Awakened Dark Cacao, Burning Spice or newer defense cookies. Like Pure Vanilla, she is still a good choice to fill a role in your party, there just seem to be better options available since her release.
Cookie Run Kingdom: How to Get More Star Jellies Fast
To level up Cookies in Cookie Run Kingdom, players are going to need plenty of Star Jellies. Here are all the ways players can earn them in the game.
It would also only be fair to rank the Ancients’ fairly new awakened forms separately. Currently, only Golden Cheese and Dark Cacao have these forms, but we can expect the others to follow suit in the future. While on their own, these two aren’t very substantial,the buffs they receive when awakened make them some of the heaviest hittersinCRK.

Newer Cookies Tend To Fare Better
Sea Fairy dominated arenas when she was the only Legendary cookie, but since the release of the other Legendaries, she has very much been pushed aside. Though she was slightly buffed through the introduction of Soul Jams, she still doesn’t compare to that of Moonlight and Black Pearl. Now that all three of them have Crystal Jams,Sea Fairy just doesn’t stick out as much as she used to.
Inversely,Frost Queen started off as the weakest of the Legendaries,but received lots of perks which eventually placed her as one of the best Legendary cookies. On top of her Crystal Jam making her considerably powerful, she’s received buffs such as increased HP, defense and lowered cool-down. Moonlight is a good contender against her in the arena, but Frost Queen otherwise excels in most areas of the game.
All Cookie Run: Kingdom Codes (March 2025)
In Cookie Run: Kingdom, players will want to use the latest codes to build their kingdom and recruit more cookies to jumpstart their path to victory.
Stormbringer Cookie is a reliable character with a strong attack and the ability to tank, and it’s likely that we would have seen her more in the meta if it were not for the awakened Ancients or Beasts. She’s only slightly outmatched when compared to Burning Spice cookie, but as a front-line charge cookie, is a very good substitute for him or Awakened Dark Cacao if a player has obtained her first. However, she is also quite replaceable by cookies such as Financier Cookie.
The most recent addition to the Legendaries is by far the strongest: Wind Archer.Though not a direct counter to him, Wind Archer is one of the only cookies who is able to somewhat compete with the new Shadow Milk cookie in terms of damage, and is less easily replaced. Wind Archer does fantastically in the arena and in exploration mode, and is definitely worth investing in.

The Rarest Cookies In The Game
Shadow Milk Cookie scores highly, but his position is subject to change, as he is the newest addition to the Beasts. Newer cookies often see significant de-buffs shortly after they’re introduced to help re-balance the game, so it’s likely that he won’t stay significantly overpowered. Despite this, judging from him being a parallel to Pure Vanilla, the leader of the Ancients, and from what we’ve seen of what he is capable of canonically, it’s safe to assume he’ll be sitting at the top of the meta for a while.
Mystic Flour and Burning Spice are popular choices in the arena, and it’s obvious why - being of the highest rarity, the Beasts have little competition, and it’s hard to pin them against each other.Mystic Flour is the best choice of healer, whileBurning Spice is the best charge cookie, currently having a slight advantage over Awakened Dark Cacao. All the Ancient, Beast, and Legendary cookies are some of the best pulls you can get inCookie Run: Kingdom,but it is smarter to build some over others.
