Diablo 4’s Next Expansion Won’t Arrive Until 2026
Sadly, A Longer Wait Than Many Hoped For Since Vessel Of Hatred
Despite manyDiablo 4players wishing for an expansion to come every year, expanding on the deep lore and storyline involving Sanctuary’s fate, it appears that developers are going to befollowing a pattern of DLC releasessimilar to what was seen inDiablo 3. AlthoughVessel of Hatredwas added toDiablo 4after only one year,Diablo 3’s expansions arrived with two to three years between launches. According toDiablo 4’s current roadmap, the second expansion toDiablo 4is slated to arrive next year, in 2026.
No title or further information has been provided for the second expansion yet, although it will continue to follow the main story campaign of the game. Its content will pick up whereVessel of Hatred’s story ended, which left players at a thrilling bit of a cliffhanger. For any players who have yet to experience the paid DLC ofVessel of Hatred, they should take the time to see that story before the next expansion toDiablo 4arrives in 2026.
