Digicon celebratedDigimon Adventure’s 25th Anniversary best by delivering a short that was teased since last year. What was meant to be amusic video instead features an elusive scenethat has never been shown before of Taichi and Yamato encountering a threatening Digimon on the road in the middle of their travels. Accompanied by Iori Hida and a young child, these two escape into the Digital World to avoid the confrontation while Taichi and Yamato gear up their partners, Agumon and Gabumon, for the upcoming battle.

What drummed up the excitement of fans was not only the special scene but also the animation showcasing additional cast members fromDigital Adventure 01and02, now much older due to time passing. Accompanied by the theme song “Brave Heart” by Michihiko Ota, the short’s animation is exceptionally crafted to cater to not only the Digimon’s swift and decisive movements in action but the impact of older cast members returning to the screen.
