A glitched-out dress inDisney Dreamlight Valleyis causing so much hilarity that players don’t even want the bug fixed. The bug seems to be triggered by attempting to fly, a feature that was only recently added to the game. Although players have previously been able to glide around, the new ability allows them to take off and navigate through the air.

It seems that, while characters can now fly, some dresses haven’t quite figured it out yet. Reddit userzebiballsshared a hilarious video that shows them trying to fly, butthe dress they’re wearing flails around and sticks out behind them stiff as a board.

To add to the hilarity, thequest being trackedby the Redditor is titled “An Alarming Development,” providing the video clip with a built-in caption, asthe behavior of the dress is certainly alarming.

A Bug Causes The Dress To Flail Out In All Directions

The hilarious bugbrings out the Marilyn Monroe in every player who encounters it,sending dresses every which way with no regard for decency. It doesn’t seem to work on all dresses, but the ones affected entirely forget how gravity works and take off with a mind of their own.

Dreamlight Valley Player “Terrorized” By A Bale Of Hay In Ridiculous Glitch

A bale of hay seems to be following a Disney Dreamlight Valley player around, even appearing in the middle of a Scramblecoin board game.

Despite the “spicy” nature of the bug, theDreamlight Valleybug is more funny than scandalous. Userbutterfly86-even reports thather daughter finds the whole thing hilarious:“My 10 year old says please don’t file a bug report it’s too funny.” She goes on to say that her daughter was disappointed when she tried it herself and didn’t get the same bug with her own dresses. Luckily, Reddit userIcy_Stuff2024has a great explanation for the apparent glitch: “Not a bug. Gliding is now powered by farts, not magic.”

Our Take: Fix The “Bug” Or Leave It As Is?

Fans Are Torn On Whether To Even File A Bug Report

Most of the time, bugs in games are bad. A bad bug can break a game or make it more difficult or unpleasant to play. Sometimes, though, a bug does nothing other than look absolutely hilarious. The flying dress bug discovered by zebiballs is one of the latter, doing nothing to interfere with the game other than looking a bit silly.

Because of this, the commenters on the Reddit thread are torn about whether to even report this bug because they find it hilarious. The dress flailing up as shown in the video is definitely not intentional, but there’s also no harm in keeping it in the game, even if it is a little “cheeky.” Disney could even handle it the way ConcernedApe recently tackled asilly bug inStardew Valley,by removing the bug but adding an Easter egg celebrating its legacy. If Disney decides to handle this with a bit of humor,Disney Dreamlight Valleyplayers could find a similar Easter egg later on down the line.
