Many Players Aren’t Aware That They Can Fill All The Holes In One Go

Digging holes inDisney Dreamlight Valleyis easy enough, butfilling them back up requires slightly more finnicky maneuvering. In order to fill a hole back up, players need to use the shovel to select the hole. It’s extremely easy to misclick and create a new hole, instead of filling up the old one. Holes will fill up on their own after 48 hours, but until that time passes, they form an eyesore.

Holes count toward the Valley’s item limits, which allow for 600 unique items and 3,000 individual items to be placed at any one time.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Characters Can Be Leveled Up In Many Ways

Digging Holes Isn’t The Only Way To Level A Digging Character

Players can appoint Valley residents as companions and assign them roles. One of these is the “Digging” role, which is the one that the original poster was attempting to increase. Many helpful comments note that digging is, counter-intuitively, not the fastest way to level up digging companions. Instead, fellow playerssuggest alternative ways to level Digging role friends even faster. Reddit userredrebelquestssays it’s more efficient to “mine instead.” They note that “it’s 40 friendship per hole,” compared to “It’s 150 per node, if not a mining role.”
