Master YodaandAhsoka Tanoare bothsurvivors of Order 66, but does Yoda know Ahsoka is alive inStar Wars? Yoda’s fate inStar Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sithwas predetermined in a way, as the originalStar Warstrilogy confirmed he was living on Dagobah during the Dark Times. Ahsoka’s fate seemed much more ominous when she was introduced inStar Wars: The Clone Warsbecause no mention had been made of her in the prequels; it seemed unlikely she would make it out alive.

Ahsoka not only survived Order 66 but also went on to become a massively influential character throughouttheStar Warstimeline. Given how active Ahsoka was during the Imperial Era in particular, it raises questions about the extent to which Yoda was aware Ahsoka was alive and involved with the Rebellion. At least in terms of the former,Star Warshas given a clear answer.

Did Yoda Know About Ahsoka Before Rebels?

It’s unclear whether Yoda knew Ahsoka was alive prior to this episode ofRebels. The last significant interaction Ahsoka and Master Yoda had was whenAhsoka left the Jedi Orderfollowing the Jedi Council’s decision to remove her from the Order when she was falsely accused of murder. Ahsoka had returned just before Order 66 to assist with the Siege of Mandalore, but there was no true reunion between Ahsoka and the Jedi Council members, and there was really no reason for Yoda to suspect Ahsoka had survived.

The Siege of Mandalore was a key battle at the end of the Clone Wars, and it continues to have an impact on Star Wars, and Ahsoka Tano in particular.

It’s unclear whether Yoda knew Ahsoka was alive prior to this episode ofRebels.

It’s nevertheless possible that Yoda was able to sense Ahsoka in the Force, particularly given how few Jedi remained. Perhaps because Ahsoka was one of so few, Yoda felt her presence in the Force. That is sadly somewhat complicated by the fact that Yoda was hiding on Dagobah and Ahsoka was rejecting the notion she was a Jedi, both of which could mean they were cut off from one another in the Force. While the exact timeline remains a bit obscure, though,Master Yodadid know that Ahsoka Tano was alive after Order 66.
