Summary
Fallout 4’s expansiveFallout: Londonmod is one of the most impressive community-driven add-ons in recent memory, butdeveloper Team FOLON wants players to know that it’s working to improve the state of the game. Shortly after its launch, which was a long time coming after several substantial delays,Fallout: Londonstunned everyone with its attention to detail, writing, and dedication to delivering a familiar but unique experience. Unfortunately, the current version of the mod is riddled with bugs, a problem of which Team FOLON is very aware.
PerPC Gamer,Team FOLON announced on its Discord that it’s currently developing a hotfix that should alleviate many of the more pressing issuesplaguing players. The main intention of the hotfix is to mend any problems causing severe crashes and game-breaking glitches while also adding a pre-existing mod to the package called “Buffout 4.” Said add-on has long been used to stabilizeFallout 4’s engine, fixing several major bugs and adding a crash logger so Team FOLON is at least able to track certain breakages and prioritize removing them fromFallout London.

Team FOLON Is Working With The Community
Aside from the hotfix,Team FOLON also announced that it’s developing what it describes as a “HUGE” patchthat will fix prolific problems like floating objects and various quest-related bugs. There’s no word yet on when this patch is expected to roll out but given the size of the team andFallout: London’s unstable nature, fans could be waiting for a while. Fortunately, the developer is offering another solution for those desperate to play the mod: One-on-one tech support.
Players who join Team FOLON’s Discord can request individual troubleshooting sessions with the developersif they’re battling to accessFallout: Londonbecause of a bugged install or persistent crashes. That kind of dedication to working with the community is impressive, especially given that at the end of the day, this is a not-for-profit mod. If it wasn’t already obvious, it should now be clearer than ever that Team FOLON is passionate about its creation and wantsas many people to enjoy it as possible.

Those players who have managed to dodgeFallout: London’s rampant crashes and bugs have stated thatthe mod feels like a genuine piece of DLC forFallout 4. Many of the mechanics and systems are familiar to fans of the franchise butthe new setting, weapons, and storymake for a fresh change of pace. Since Bethesda isn’t planning on setting aFalloutgame anywhere other than the United States, it’s fun to see a glimpse intoa post-apocalyptic United Kingdom, even if it isn’t canon.
