Rejoice sneakerheads, for it is finally that time for one of the most iconic collaborations to date,Yu-Gi-Oh!has recently signed up with Nike to reproduceJoey Wheeler’s Air Max 95’s. The infamous card game series has long since made numerous references to the Nike and Jordan models, but, due to obvious infringement rights, it couldn’t use any of the markings that the brand is known for. That didn’t stopYu-Gi-Oh!and Joey Wheeler from making the connections through not-so-subtle context clues.
Joey Wheeler’s particular shoe brand, the Air Max 95, was never officially a design or style that Nike owned, further separating itself from the patent. But the newest drop will celebrate Joey’s dedication to Air Muscle by calling the brand-new set of sneakers, theNike Air Max Muscle 95. Not only arethey expected to release later this year in Fall 2025, but there will be two different colorways, perhaps aiming to replicate the styles Joey owns in the series.
