The infamous card game series has long since made numerous references to the Nike and Jordan models, but, due to obvious infringement rights, it couldn’t use any of the markings that the brand is known for. Joey Wheeler’s particular shoe brand, the Air Max 95, was never officially a design or style that Nike owned, further separating itself from the patent. But the newest drop will celebrate Joey’s dedication to Air Muscle by calling the brand-new set of sneakers, theNike Air Max Muscle 95. Not only arethey expected to release later this year in Fall 2025, but there will be two different colorways, perhaps aiming to replicate the styles Joey owns in the series.

Much like how it is depicted in the series, Joey Wheeler’s two different styles of sneakers will be replicated in the colorways he’s seen rocking in the anime.One of which will be the grey and neon, with a very dark base leading up to an ombre of smokey grey to white, detailed with black and neon accents to give the sneaker that classic appearance. The otheris the navy design, which is more synonymous with Joey’s character, featuring a similar dark base of navy blue, and different segments along the side lightening in colors of blue with similar flashes of a bright neon accent.
