Now that In-ho is back in his Front Man persona, it is likely that he will punish Gi-hun for his rebellion inSquid Gameseason 3.

Therefore, I thinkit’s possible that being forced to dress up as The Front Man could push Gi-hun over the edge, and potentially lead to him eventually choosing to accept the role. While it is Gi-hun’s goal to stop the games,Squid Gamehas never been a show that provides happy endings. Therefore, I’m not going to hold out hope that the remaining players will be able to survive the events ofSquid Gameseason 3.
WhileSquid Gameseason 3 will undoubtedly feature many deaths,it would be even more heartbreaking if Gi-hun is the one who has to decide who lives and dies while dressed as The Front Man. It is very hard to predict what Gi-hun’s fate will be in season 3, but this would definitely be a very horrific way for In-ho to punish him. Additionally, this twist would also probably surprise most viewers ofSquid Gameseason 3 and raise the stakes of the final season even more.
