Attention residents of Throatcutter Hill!
Art! Since the dawn of humanity, we have found emotional, spiritual, and even intellectual meaning through the visual arts. But sometimes…even art can suck real, real bad. Is a soulless and aesthetically meritless corporate statue ruining your view of a perfectly good park full of uncollected trash and dead rats? That’s where I come in—Hello, I’m Harley Quinn. Recently, I launched my latest business venture, the Harley Quinn Destructive Agency.
My goal is simple: if there’s something you need blown up, if you need somebody clobbered, if there’s anything I can do to make Throatcutter Hill a more dangerous place again—I’ll do it. My rates are reasonable! And for an introductory price of $3.99 you can witness me beat the crud out of a corpo superhero! You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll slap your thigh! So what are you waiting for? Call your local comics store, and be sure to order a copy of Harley Quinn #45 today!

This November,Harley Quinn #45sees the titular character create the Harley Quinn Destructive Agency. In her own words, if anyone needs something vandalized or beaten up, Harley Quinn is up for the challenge. Harley Quinn is Offering Up Destruction and Chaos for Low, Low Prices
Harley Quinn has been through some major changes in her life. After traveling throughout the multiverse, Harley reassessed her life and decided to get back in touch with her roots. She donned her old costume and began working with villains again, though this time to study them and help them develop a more therapeutic approach to crime.Harley managed to make real inroads with villains like the Body Doubles and Maxie Zeus, though Mister Freeze took advantage of her services. Not to mention, Harley’s new mission caused her to run afoul of a cop intent on bringing all vigilantes down.
It’s hard to box Harley into one corner. Is she a hero or villain? The truth is, she’s pretty much in a league of her own. Harley’s not a bad person, she just loves chaos and thrives in it. Honestly, it’s pretty smart for her to offer this kind of service. If anyone can disrupt things on a big scale, it’s Harley. And she’s usually pretty smart about the company she keeps, so she’s likely to not get into business with people with ill intentions. This ‘destructive agency’ Harley Quinn is forming could be what she’s neededall along.
Harley Quinn Finally Found Her Place in the DC Universe
Harley’s made it clear she doesn’t want to be a hero, at least in the traditional sense. But she’s beyond committing empty crime or villainy for villainy’s sake. Harley Quinn wants fun and excitement, not to mention making a little money. Could the Harley Quinn Destructive Agency wind up being a huge mistake? Probably. But it’s a fun grey area that givesHarley Quinnall the freedom and excitement she needs to truly thrive.
