A new concept reveals what theHarry Potterfranchise would look like with more bloodsucking vampires. The franchise, which came to the big screen in 2001, has dominated popular culture since J.K. Rowling released the first book in 1997. In telling the story of Harry’s war against Voldemort, the story features numerous magical creatures based on real-world myths and legends. WiththeHarry PotterTV showon the way, more creatures will likely be introduced in the coming years.
A group of Instagram artists, who form theAradateam, recently created aglamorous depiction of major franchise characters as vampires. Check the out below:

Harry, Voldemort, Lucius Malfoy, and numerous other characters are depicted in glittering pink robes and dresses. Each has sharp teeth, pale skin, and supernatural appearances. The aesthetic does not match the original movies, which were dark and dreary, but it presents a new potential style for the show to adopt. It would create a more colorful universe, though it would sacrifice the original theme.
Could A Harry Potter Vampire Series Work?
The Concept Does Work But Is Not Necessary
A constant theme in the franchise is that Harry and Voldemort share some similarities. A piece of Voldemort’s soul rests in Harry, as heserves as the final Horcrux, which changed the boy forever. If Voldemort is depicted as a vampire, it would only be natural that Harry would match him, just as he developed the ability to use Parseltongue. The vampire concept would further that theme, but it is not entirely necessary. The theme already exists and adding in a stereotypical vampire would be compelling, but it would only serve as a distraction from existing issues.
Every Harry Potter In Order (And & How Long Their Runtime Is)
While the story of Harry Potter has ended, it seems like the end is nowhere in sight yet for The Wizarding World. Let’s look at every movie so far.
Additionally, the wizards and witches already have immense power. Sucking blood from muggles is hardly more interesting than their existing abilities or the good and evil concepts that carry the franchise.Vampires are already in the series, as they are regularly discussed inDefence Against the Dark Arts classes. They do not play a massive role for a reason, as the seven books and eight movies are already stuffed with narrative elements.

Our Take On A Vampiric Harry Potter
The Franchise Is Beloved Without Vampires
Few franchises have ever seen the immense success ofHarry Potter. BetweentheFantastic Beastsfranchiseand the original eight movies, it has earned an incredible $9.5 billion at the box office. That ignores the financial explosion of books, DVD sales, streaming deals, theme park profits, and merchandising. Vampire stories are popular, but changing any element could hurt the show. With a TV show on the way, there is no reason to sway too far from the classic tried-and-told story of Harry’s adventures against Voldemort. It might be fun, but HBO should not take the risk.

Harry Potter
Harry Potter is a multimedia franchise about an orphaned boy who enrolls at Hogwarts School of Wizardry, where he learns the truth about himself, his family, and the terrible evil that haunts the magical world. Adapted from the novels, Harry Potter is an eight-episode film saga that follows the journey of Harry Potter and his friends, Hermoine Granger and Ron Weasley, as they navigate the tricky world of growing up, school life, and magic. Starting from year one and moving to their seventh year, the films chronicle the students' time at Hogwarts while unfurling a sinister plot that centers around the unsuspecting Harry. With the return of the dark wizard, Voldemort, the students and professors at Hogwarts will fight to carry on as the world around them may change forever. Harry Potter has expanded beyond the world of its films and novels with several video games, a spin-off film series titled Fantastic Beasts, and even attractions at Universal Studios.
