While not everything on The Island has been released yet as of this time of writing, there are still plenty of ways to gain XP.

What Is XP Used For On The Island?

XP on The Island is used tolevel up your Wrestler, but not to improve their Attributes. Your Overall strength is divided into several stat categories, including things like your Speed, Technique, Durability, etc. These scores can only be improved when you spend Virtual Currency, the main source of in-game money inWWE 2K25.

Your XP Level is a completely separate aspect of your custom wrestler, as seen in the mySUPERSTAR menu of The Island.You can level up your character using XP from 1 to 50on The Island, giving you many rewards when reaching certain milestones. Each tier of rewards from Level 1 through Level 50 can be seen in the XP menu, so you’ll know what you’re working toward as you earn experience. However, therealistic gameplay inWWE 2K25doesn’t offer XP for every action, making it tricky to farm compared to other resources. Unlike VC, youcannot buy XP using real-world money, making it something you have to grind earnestly.

The story missions for The Island are not too long as of this time of writing. For right now, there are a limited number of Chapters for the story to complete, but more will likely be added in the future.
Quests are another way to farm XP quickly, especially if they are easy to finish. Daily goals may include participating in a certain match type on The Island several times to earn some XP. Weekly quests may take longer to complete, but these missions are likely to offer you far more XP for their completion, making the effort worth it.
Any of The Island regions also offer 1v1 online matches for the modes they represent.Participating in any type of online match on The Island will grant you some amount of XP, so just queue up if you need a quick source of experience. Virtual Currency (VC) comes from playing matches as well, so you’ll earn multiple resources from going up against other people online.

Match Actions will also give you XP for completing certain goalsduring a match itself.
