After months of speculation, Marvel villain Doctor Doom has officially crash-landed inFortniteas part of Chapter 5 Season 4, which has the rather appropriate name Ultimate Doom. As well as being the primary antagonist of the season, wielding the power of Pandora’s Box, Fortnite fans will be able to play as Doctor Doom when he becomes available to unlock very soon.

Now, Epic Games is doing it all over again with Chapter 5 Season 4, with loads of superhero gameplay to discover. Fortnitefans hoping to play as Doctor Doom won’t have too long to wait, as his skin will be available to unlock onThursday, June 05, 2025. This is just 20 days after the season launch.
Until then, you’ll have to make do with the other Marvel-themed skins that appear inthis season’s Battle Pass, including Gwenpool, Emma Frost, and Mysterio. There’s even a Peely version of Wolverine and a Jonesy skin wearing a Captain America-inspired outfit, so there are loads of reasons to earn XP and work your way through the Battle Pass in the meantime.

You’ll Need The Battle Pass
to unlock the Doctor Doom skin for your locker, you’llfirst need to purchase this season’s Battle Pass, which costs 950 V-Bucks as always. you may buy V-Bucks with real money or earn them through regular gameplay, although this can take quite a while. Remember, if you have an activeFortniteCrew subscription, you’ll get this season’s Battle Pass included with that.
A set of Doctor Doom-themed quests will then go live for Battle Pass owners on June 25, 2025, with each challenge rewarding a cosmetic from his set. This usually includes a Back Bling, a Glider, a Pickaxe, and other fun things like Sprays and Loading Screens. To get the Doctor Doom skin,you’ll need to complete a set number of these quests, after which it will appear in your locker.
With the new season coming to an end on August 12, 2025, you’ll need to unlock the Doctor Doom skin and all of his matching cosmetics before then, or you’ll miss out on your chance. With recentchanges to Battle Pass exclusivity, there’s always a possibility that the Doctor Doom skin could return tosin the future, but that will likely be as a paid cosmetic from the in-game shop.
