The Search For Hisoka And Morena Intensifies
The chapter begins with the real Hisoka in a casino, gambling. It turns out that the previous Hisoka was actually Bonolenov, using his ability to masquerade as him on Chrollo’s orders. Seeing the real Hisoka, Bonolenov retreats and transforms into someone else after realizing he is no match for the Joker. He recounts what transpired in the mafia confrontation and how he was able to keep his cover. He also ponders on Chrollo’s desperation to kill Hisoka and how the other members were trying to find Hisoka first to spare their leader the pain.
Elsewhere, Nobunaga, Feitan, and Phinks meet up with Tajao and Wang, Cha-r leaders, to confirm Nobunaga’s suspicions. Nobunaga hypothesizes that the Hei-ly family might be pursuing other goals compared to other mafia families due to their confusing way of operating. The fact they were killing both other mafia families and civilians indiscriminately led him to the conclusionthey were killing in exchange for Nen abilities, and their goal is to destroy everything. Tajao trusts his theory, leads them to a secret door, and asks the three to destroy the Hei-ly to preserve the families' balance.
Morena, in her secret base, strategizes with Dogman and instructs him to attend Halkenburg’s funeral procession to sniff out someone specific using his ability. She says that finding this person would be the key to their plans, and the catalyst for the beginning of the end. She also reveals that her other subordinates were leveling up their powers to get revenge on Hinrigh for humiliating them in battle. Nobunaga, Phinks, and Feitan reach the end of the entrance, where Tajao tells them things will get dangerous beyond the exit.

This chapter really showed the angst the Phantom Troupe is feeling and how much they loathe Hisoka. However, they aren’t searching for him just to get revenge, but to also save Chrollo from himself. Not only was it revealed that Sarasa’s killer, seen inthe Phantom Troupe’s tragic flashback, was murdered years ago, but that this might be the Troupe’s last performance. This hints thatthe Phantom Troupe might not make it out of the Black Whale. Another interesting hint is that the treasure Chrollo is looking for is an ability that will be strong enough to kill Hisoka once and for all.
Morena is an even bigger threat now, and her plans to destroy everything are nearing completion. Furthermore, her subordinates have become even more powerful after continuing their killing spree. Not only does that make the Hei-ly family a bigger threat, but the possibility of martial law being enacted by Benjamin is even greater now. A clash between the Phantom Troupe and the Hei-ly family is imminent now, and while Nobunaga did instruct Wang to call the other members to back him up, it is revealed Wang is a traitor and working with Morena, so the three are in danger as they head into uncharted territory without reinforcements.
