Developer HoYoverse has announced a new world boss update forGenshin Impact5.5 that will definitely help me and other players with future challenges. Version 5.5 is only a few weeks away from arriving as the action RPG moves further into its second half.The next update will bring forth several new pieces of content, including the playable characters Varesa and Iansan, both from the Collective of Plenty tribe. According to an official Developers Discussion post made by the developer onHoYoLAB,Version 5.5 will add a new feature called Path of Challenge, which highlights the entrance to a world boss’ location in the game. As an example, the post shows theGoldflame Qucusaur Tyrant inGenshin Impact, who is hidden in an underground area in Natlan. With the new feature, players can open their map and select the boss. By doing this, they will be given the option to Track and Guide, which will create an icon on the map showcasing the main entrance to its lair.

While this function is somewhat simple and isn’t necessarily vital to locating these bosses, mainly because the game now has a Layered Map feature, it should prove to be helpful. The main entrance is through a tunnel southeast of the arena, while the alternative is through a hole in the ground above. The difference is that, if players enter from above, they will have to face the boss immediately, without unlocking the nearby Teleport Waypoint.This new feature should help players approach boss fights safely.

This is but one of the officially announced quality-of-life (QoL) updates for the update.
