Oscar helped Monica Stevens get intel on her enemies, and in exchange, she gave him the tools necessary to break out. Oscar recruited Jason, and after the two did what Monica asked, she aided in their escape. Before getting in the car Monica provided for them,Jason told Oscar that he could drop him off in Los Angeles,suggesting he’s out for revenge against his ex-wife and her new husband.

The episodes should show some sort of confrontation between Bailey and Jason, though, given that Jason’s escape was the main cliffhanger inThe Rookieseason 6 finale.
