Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arcepisode #5 had the quickest pacing of any episode so far, but even with that, it did a good job of setting up the stakes forepisode #6and beyond. The action was as thrilling and bizarre as one would expect from a series like this, and episode #6 is sure to be just as good in that regard, if not greater.

Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arcepisode #5 continued the battle between the Devil Chojin and the Perfect Large Numbers, the main focus being on the fights between Stecasse-King and Turbomen and Mr. Khamen and Crushman. What Happened In Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc Episode 5?

Produced By Production I.G; Directed By Akira Sato

Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arcepisode #5, “The Pride of the Devil Chojin!!,” continued the fight between Stecasse-King and Turbomen, Stecasse-King now trying to finish him off with Warsman’s power. However, Turbomen revealed that he had been absorbing the power of Stecasse-King’s attacks to send it back into Stecasse-King, and because of that,Stecasse-King was overloaded with so much power that his limbs exploded off his body. With no way for Stecasse-King to continue fighting, Turbomen killed him with his Complete Sting technique and ended the match.

Over in Germany, “Perfect Palm” Crushman fought against Mr. Khamen, a Chojin with a pharaonic aesthetic whose finishing move was to mummify his opponent by sucking out their moisture with a straw. Mr. Khamen attempted to do the same to Crushman, but thanks to Crushman’s cybernetic body, the technique was disrupted by Mr. Khamen’s mouth being destroyed by chunks of iron. With Mr. Khamen’s trump card off the table,Crushman attacked Mr. Khamen with his signature Iron Glove attackand skewered every inch of his body, killing Mr. Khamen and ending the match.

At the same time in China, “Perfect Fang” Darmeshiman fought against Black Hole, a Chojin from the Bermuda Triangle who used the gaping hole in his face to manipulate space in a variety of ways, most notably by sucking enemies into a miniature black hole. For a brief moment, Black Hole appeared to have given up fighting Darmeshiman, Darmeshiman assuming he was shaken by the deaths of his comrades. However,Black Hole eventually used his signature face hole to trap Darmeshiman’s leg in a tight lock, and the episode ended with Black Hole landing a devastating hit on Darmeshiman.

Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc Perfectly Ups The Stakes Of Its Story

Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arcepisode #5 was nothing but fighting from start to finish, but even so, it did a great job of upping the stakes of the story. Even with how good a showing the Devil Chojin made in their arrival, the Perfect Large Numbers still defeated them with relative ease, so it’s clearer than ever thatthe Perfect Large Numbers are some of the strongest villainsto be introduced totheKinnikumanfranchise. These losses won’t be the last the Devil Chojin suffer, but they’ll hopefully get the chance to show off how strong they are, as well.

Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc Increases Its Pacing To Great Effect

Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arcepisode #5 was the fastest-paced episode of the series, so far, and it was a good move on the part of the show. While longer fights would have been nice, the quick pacing of Stecasse-King and Mr. Khamen’s defeats helped toemphasize how powerful the Perfect Large Numbers are supposed to be, as it established them as being far above the villains ofthe originalKinnikumanseries. All of that makes the upcoming fight between Black Hole and Darmeshiman even more important to watch, and it’s sure to be just as good as the others.

The stellar action and animation also did wonders to sell episode #5. Not only were the fights in episode #5 animated extremely well, but just like in previous episodes,Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arcwent to great lengths togive the Devil Chojin gorgeous character introductions in the style of wrestling intro movies, and it perfectly added to the charm of the series.Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arcepisode #5 was another strong installment, and whatever’s done to follow it is sure to be just as good, if not better.
