TheTomb Raiderfranchise hasreceived plenty of love recentlythanks to two collections of remastered classics butit seems like a third bundle could be on the way. Aspyr’s work on the olderTomb Raidergames has beennothing short of excellentas the studio has modernized titles that have, admittedly, aged rather poorly in a mechanical sense. While the next package, which includesTomb Raider 4, 5,and6, is only slated to arrive in February 2025, the developer is seemingly planning beyond that.
Posted to Reddit by userJMilao, a listing on Amazon fora remastered collection of the so-called “Legend Trilogy,” which comprisesLara Croft: Tomb Raider Legend, Anniversary, andUnderworld, is in development.

It’s worth noting that the page has since been removed which can either mean that it was an error or, potentially, that it was published too early. As is the case with any leak, fans are advised to temper their expectationsand not get their hopes too high until either Asypr or Crystal Dynamics announces the existence of the Legend Trilogy remaster.
The Legend Trilogy Deserves A Remaster
A Bundle Of Classics
Tomb Raider’s Legends Trilogy arrived at a time when the franchise needed a major shot in the arm. The title that precededLegendwasAngel of Darkness,a game that many consider to be an unmitigated disaster for its poor controls, awkward combat, and general clunkinessthat many hoped would be left in the past with the transition to the PlayStation 2. There was a great deal riding onLegendand while it still had some problems with Lara’s movement, it proved to be a massive success.
Crystal Dynamics followedLegendwithAnniversary,a ground-up remake of the first game that modernized the experience by streamlining the mechanics. The trilogy was then capped off byUnderworld,a significantly darker take on the seriesthat boasted some stunning visuals and animation for the time. As a package, many fans consider theLegend Trilogy to beTomb Raider’s peak, beaten only by the most recent games.

Returning To The Legend Trilogy Sounds Grand
Put Some Respect On Those Games
Perhaps I’m biased butI agree with the sentiment of the Legend Trilogy being the best collection ofTomb Raidergames. My opinion is likely swayed by the fact that they were the first entries I played but having gone back to check out the older installments, I think they best encapsulate Crystal Dynamics' vision for Lara Croft. I hope this leak is accurate as I would relish the opportunity to play these classics again with a fresh coat of paint.
