What This Means For Leverage: Redemption

Leverage Gets A Big Prime Video Welcome

The new images forLeverage: Redemptionseason 3 reaffirm the return of a character whose fate had been somewhat left up in the air. Though he’s one of the main stars of the originalLeverage, Hodge technically only returned forRedemptionin a “special guest star” capacity, as his filming schedule for other projects limited his availability. He will be back for season 3, as he’s shown standing alongside Riesgraf’s Parker in the middle of a con, though he confirmed in November 2024 that his role will remain small, as he was also filmingCrossseason 2at the same time.

Hodge’s recent projects include DC’sBlack Adam,City on a Hill, andCrossseason 1, which is also a Prime Video show.

Leverage: Redemptionseason 2 ended with Hardison asking the team to come rescue him from space, since he’d spent most of the season working on a space station and was left without an exit plan. Whether season 3 will opt to pick up on that outlandish premise remains to be seen, but even if it does,it won’t be long until the show resumes its typical case-of-the-week format, as shown by the synopsis.

By savingLeverage: Redemptionfor April, Prime Video is adding it to its string of major returning shows. Just last week,Reacherseason 3 premieredon the service and will run until late March. Additionally,The Wheel of Timeseason 3 will debut in March and conclude around the same timeLeverage: Redemptionbegins. All three shows have solid, strong fanbases, and, in a way, Prime Video is subtly aligning its new acquisition with its established shows, positioningLeverage: Redemptionfor a solid run.

Our Take On Leverage: Redemption’s Return

It’s Coming Right When We Need It

Season 3’s premiere has been a long time coming, so it’s a relief to hearLeverage: Redemptionwill soon be returning. In this current political climate, it can be immensely comforting to watch a show where former criminals use their skills to help good, everyday people against big corporations and greedy rich people. One might saythe series is returning at exactly the right time; I, for one, can’t wait to see what’s in store.
