However, when Cudlitz was asked if he was happy with the way wherever his version of Lex goes towards the end of the series, the star had high praise for the final episode ofSuperman & Lois. While also teasing that fans can look forward to seeing Lex in his famous battle armor, which was revealed in a recent trailer,long-timeSuperman & Loisviewers will get proper conclusions about all of the characters, stating the following:

Michael Cudlitz: I’m thrilled with where we went. I feel the finale is - as someone who became a fan of the show - wonderfully wraps up the entire story that we’re telling. An incredible amount of fan service is done to all of these characters and the fans, so no one feels left out. Everyone has an incredibly satisfying arc and resolution in the show, plus it’s [an] incredibly emotional arc for the entire series, not just the individual characters, the family, as to where they go on the journey, and where the boys wind up in their relationship with their dad, mom and with everyone else in the show. [I] couldn’t be happier with the show, and could not be happier with what they did with, I feel, an incredibly detailed, very specific, “What If…?” story with Lex. Starting from what if Lex was his driving force was pain from his loss of his daughter. How would that resolve, and how would that collide into the world of Superman & Lois and what would/could be the resolution of that? Based on everything we know, and wonderfully tying in the comics and the suit, which we’ve seen in the trailer, we know that’s coming: how do we get back to the Lex that is now from the Lex we started with who was this prisoner for 17 years and became who he had to become to survive in prison. How does he reestablish himself back in the world and take over the life that he had prior?

What Michael Cudlitz' Superman & Lois Comments Mean For The Finale

Despite the big success behindSuperman & Lois,it was always a big surprise that The CW drama was only given ten episodes to finish their storylines. However, even with a limited amount of hours, it is increasingly evident thattheSuperman & Loisseries finaleis something that the creative team didn’t take lightly when it came to crafting a conclusion for the characters, and it says a lot thatSuperman & Loisseason 4 has been able to work many of them back into the overall arc, even if some have less screentime.

WiththeSuperman & Lois' season 4 endingpromised to be emotional,it is also remarkable that the writers are able to check off some of the bigger things that fans have wanted to see in this particular incarnation of the Man of Tomorrow. The fact that they got both Cudlitz as their Lex while also getting to exploreThe Death of Supermanin the same season is definitely not an easy task, to say the least. For a show that had plans to run for at least seven seasons, it’s impressive to see howSuperman & Loisseason 4 is managing to fit so much into their shortest season ever.
