The 2019 movie serves as a funny remake of aclassic 1980s Tom Hanks comedy.Littlefollows Jordan Sanders, a tech company executive who is mean to her employees, as shemagically gets transformed into her 13-year-old self. Funny chaos ensues when Jordan is forced to go back to school and her company is taken over by her assistant, April, who also has to pose as her aunt.
Littlewas met with mixed reviews from critics and grossed $49 million at the box office on a budget of $20 million (viaBox Office Mojo), and, despite modest reactions, audiences enjoyed the film. Though some of the writing was criticized, the performances of the cast, includingLittle’s 14-year-old breakout star and executive producer, were praised for their chemistry and embodiment of the characters.
