The Video Game Adaptation Could Be A Hit

Though recent video game adaptations have found success, withIllumination’sThe Super Mario Bros. Moviebeing the most notable example, it’s unclear ifA Minecraft Moviewill be a hit with audiences. The movie features a tone and style that could prove divisive, and there have been complaints that Black’s take on Steve isn’t very different from his broader comedic persona.
