NCIS: Los Angelesstar Eric Christian Olsen addresses a potential return in the upcomingNCISseason 22. Olsen, who is an executive producer on the newMatlockseries, joked that he occasionally imagines himself appearing in the Kathy Bates reboot. But when it came to Marty Deeks, he was more conflicted. He initially focused on his co-stars, LL Cool J, Renee Felice Smith, and real-life sister-in-law Daniela Ruah:
“I actively miss Todd, and I was texting with Renee this morning, and I see Daniela all the time…”
But when it came down to it,when asked if he was eager to play Deeks again, Olsen replied “not so much.”

But the real development happens in the personal realm.

Callen and Anna, though they’d planned for a big wedding, decide to go with a small ceremony instead. And while Kensi and Deeks deal with the realization that they’re having a baby, Rountree receives the settlement that he’s been hoping for. Sam, who would go on to assist Jane Tennant and appear in 12 episodes ofNCIS: Hawai’i, receives optimistic news about the health of his father.
