Dobrev Fell Off Of An E-Bike In May
Dobrev’s most recent update comes after abiking accident that the actor reported in Mayof this year. That month, Dobrev posted two photos on her Instagram. In the first, she was posing on an e-bike on what appeared to be a nice, cloudless day. In the second photo, the actor was lying down in a hospital bed with a neck and knee brace on, in a post captioned with “how it started vs how it’s going.”
In a June interview withThe Talk, Dobrev explained that she was “in a wheelie” and “lost control” when the accident happened. The bike did not fall on her, but she “landed on one leg, straight,” which meant that her “knee just snapped.” Overall, Dobrev’s extensive injuriesrequired her to get knee surgery and treatment for her ACL and her meniscus. If the bike had fallen on her, doctors said, the state of her injuries would be a lot worse, and Dobrev would likely not be in as good shape as she describes today.
