The upcoming 2D-animated series was originally titledSpider-Man: Freshman Yearwhen the project was first announced in 2021.Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’s storywas previously going to explore the origins of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in the MCU before the events ofCaptain America: Civil WarandSpider-Man: Homecoming. However, the series was revamped to follow a new version of Peter Parker in a different timeline where he is mentored by Norman Osborn.
Now,Marvelhas released the official trailer thatshows the latest take on Peter’s origin story as he balances high school alongside being a superhero. Peter is seen rushing to school and coming up with excuses to leave class to save the day.
