MIXI and PointsBet get iGaming Ontario approval
According to PointsBet, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) conducted an extended and intensive review into MIXI before providing written confirmation of the proposed acquisition. PointsBet also received confirmation from iGaming Ontario (iGO).
Meanwhile, MIXI has satisfied the requirement in Paragraph 4.5 of Schedule 1 in the Bid Implementation Deed dated June 22, 2025. The proposed takeover bid, however, still depends on meeting other conditions such as at least a 50.1% acceptance of the offer.

On June 12, 2025, Northern Territory Racing and Wagering Commission (NTRWC) approved MIXI’s acquisition of PointsBet as well. This means no further gaming regulatory approvals are needed for the proposed takeover bid.
