Pokémon GOtrainers are set for another busy month in March 2025, including the Max Mondays events. Five of these events will take place on Mondays throughout March. Each event lasts an hour, with the first scheduled forMonday, July 21, 2025.These eventsprovide a tougher test for trainers than the regular raids that have long been in place inPokémon GO.

After the introduction of Dynamax Pokémon intoPokemon GO, there were only a handful of them available, but now they are coming thick and fast, with a number available every week for trainers. Some are more difficult than others to defeat, but you should try to beat all of the Dynamax Pokémon at least once to add them to your newly updated Pokédex following theRoad to Unova Event.

10 Strongest Dual-Type Pokémon in Pokémon GO

Dual-type Pokémon in Pokémon GO are a lot stronger than they seem, and can beat some impressive Pokémon across plenty of singular types.

The three returning Pokémon all have their uses. Steel- and Psychic-typeBeldumremains a great option to add to your Dynamax teams. In its final evolution stage, Metagross is one of the elite Pokémon in the general Pokédex and is the best Steel-type option so far out of the Dynamax Pokémon available.

Only Dynamax Pokémon can be used to compete in Max Battles. This makes it vital that you catch as many different types as you can to give yourself the best chance for tougher battles in the future.

Scorbunnystruggles compared to some of the other Fire-types available, such as Charmander’s evolution line and theLegendary bird Dynamax Moltres, but its final stage Cinderace, is still a solid option. Likewise,Drilbur’sevolution Excadrill is one of the standout Ground-types in Dynamax form inPokémon GO.

Tier 1

In addition to three Pokémon featured before as Dynamax Pokémon, two further entries make their debuts in this form. Both are Generation One Pokémon, inChanseyandCaterpie. While the latter’s evolution line tends to have limited use in the series, Chansey and its evolved stage, Blissey, can be used in certain scenarios.

On top of appearing in Max Mondays, all Pokémon will feature in the regular Max Battles across March for at least one week. So if you miss the chance to catch one on their specific Max Monday, there will be further opportunities to get them.

The difficulty of both new Dynamax Pokémon has yet to be confirmed until they launch inPokémon GO.However, it is expected that Caterpie will be a Tier 1 Max Battle, but Chansey could be a Tier 3. Tier 1 battles can be beaten on your own, but for Tier 3, going in with other trainers is recommended. Whatever ones you take during March, you should select Pokémon that are super-effective against them to make the Max Battles easier.

How Do Max Mondays Work?

All Ditto Disguises In Pokemon GO (March 2025)

If players are looking to catch Ditto in Pokemon GO, they might want to keep the disguise list handy so that they have a better chance of finding it.

Once logged in during the specific date and time, you need to find localPowerSpotsandactivate a Max Battle. you may find these through the options alongside Raids in the bottom right corner of the main screen. Each Max Battle requires Max Particles to participate, but the number depends on the difficulty of the Pokémon on offer. Like Raids, you take on these battles solo or with other players. I prefer play with a maximum of three other players for Max Battles.

If you defeat the Dynamax Pokémon in the Max Battle, you will be given the chance to capture it in its Dynamax form and then use it going forward for further battles. With two Dynamax Pokémon making their debuts in Max Mondays this March, you should be looking to take them on inPokémon GO.
