How Will This Affect Reacher Season 3?

Reacher Season 3 May Be Safe

With any major studio change comes the potential for creative changes to ongoing series. This particular move could cause concern for shows likeReacher, for instead of just one project shifting to another network (like9-1-1’s move from Fox to ABC), awhole slate of projects are changing ownership at one time. This could overwhelm CBS Studios as they are now saddled with managing their existing set of network projects along with a host of new titles. Whether this could decrease the quality ofReacherseason 3 remains to be seen.

A hopeful sign forReacherseason 3 is that it is fairly far along in its production process. Throughout the production, set updates showed that the follow-up season was moving along swiftly after theending ofReacherseason 2. In early July, star Alan Ritchson posted a transformation video that showed his transition from theReacherproduction to his next project,Motor City. With Ritchson playing the lead in the show, the wrap on Ritchson would seemingly indicate the end of filming forReacherseason 3.

Reacher Season 3 Could Feature An Exciting Comeback Thanks To 1 Huge Book Detail

Reacher season 3 will be based on the seventh book in Lee Child’s series, and its setting means a character comeback is way more likely.

The fact thatReacherseason 3 has finished filming is a good sign that the show will at least not experience major creative changes after Paramount Television Studios shutdown. The fact that it is co-produced with Skydance and Amazon is also a good sign that any future seasons ofReachercould maintain their faithfulness to the original seasons' style, for they still have two other groups' opinions to rely on as well. A potentialReacherseason 4 could still be impacted by this change, but hopefully, season 3 will be successful enough for the series to at least retain its budget.
