Now,Paramount+has released the first officialteaser forStar Trek: Strange New Worldsseason 3, teasing all the new adventures to come across the show’s 10-episode season.This includes beginning footage that is reminiscent ofThe Original Series, including a retro filter that makes it look like it’s from the 1960s. It teases the developing relationship between Spock and Christine, alongside a variety of threats the crew will have to face. Other highlights include Patton Oswalt appearing as a Vulcan and Pelia (Carol Kane) trying to rewire theEnterprise.
One curious detail is thatthe Holodeck appears in the trailer as well. This is despite the location originating inStar Trek: The Animated Series, which takes place long after the events ofStrange New Worlds. Even so, it appears in the trailer, sporting a similar look to when it was featured inStar Trek: The Next Generation.
