How To Use Nix’s Distract To Takedown Enemies
Positioning & Timing
To use Nix to distract enemies inStar Wars Outlawsfor takedowns properly,hold the Nix Mode controland select theposition away from an enemy to the opposite side you’re facing. For example, if you’re hidden in cover to the left of an enemy, you’ll want to position Nix to their right. Press the command to “Distract.” Then, as your merqaal friend goes to “put on a show” as Kay would say, foes will turn and divert themselves well away from you.
The control For Nix Mode is L1 on PS5, LB on Xbox, and Q on PC.
Nix will distract an enemy for roughly 10 to 15 seconds. At that time, while crouching, sneak behind an enemy close enough for you to see the melee prompt (X on Xbox, Square on PS5, and V on PC). Kay will then perform a stealth takedown, and the target will be incapacitated. This is one of the ways toincrease Adrenaline Rush inStar Wars Outlaws, making this extra handy.
How To Use Nix’s Attack For Multiple Enemies

Using Nix’s attack command is an excellent way to stealth and take down multiple enemies at once inStar Wars Outlaws. First, you may onlydo this with two foes at the most,and both must be facing away from you. They also must be isolated from other enemies in the base, so any alerts won’t set off any alarms, which can be troublesome if you’re still getting adjusted to using yourdata spike to lockpick inStar Wars Outlawsin the early hours.
To stealth takedown two foes at once, press the Nix Mode button and move the cursor onto an enemy until you see a prompt for “Attack” and press the button. While Nix is attacking one enemy, sneak up behind the pair and stealth takedown the other one. Then, while your friend is still distracting the other one, press the melee prompt again to finish them off. With these two ways for Nix to distract enemies inStar Wars Outlaws, you’re set to be the master of takedowns.
