Alexe seemed like the perfect match for Grant. Her bubbly energy complimented his semi-reserved nature, yet she was eliminated in week 5. Her ultimate rejection was almost as shocking as Dina’s. Dina shared Grant’s aspirations and interests.The pair had fantastic chemistry and potential,but despite their open communication regarding their future ventures, Dina was eliminated after hometowns.
Despite their connection, similar values, and aspirations, these women were sent home. For Zoe, who had few conversations with him and has yet to explore anything deeper, so continues to vie for his heart. On the hometown dates, Grant broached their distance, saying,“I felt like either it was me or it was her that was holding back.”He is aware of their emotional barricades but has hope. Ironically, the lead has emphasized the importance of opening up and has second-guessed other connections for the same reason.

Grant seemed to be talking in circles during Zoe’s hometown date. While he recognizes their distance, he still hopes to break through these walls.These conversations should have been touched on earlierin the season, as only three contestants remain. For Grant’s previous eliminations, who never had the opportunity to open up with Grant, this must sting.
He doesn’t seem sure of Zoe. With only a couple weeks remaining, Grant vaguely described Zoe as“wonderful,”and with“a lot of traits that I’m looking for.”This praise compared toGrant’s proclamation of love for Litia and pursuit of Juliana, is lackluster. He even admits that he hasn’t fallen for her.
When Grant was talking with Zoe’s sister, Faith, she immediately questioned his decisions. When Faith asked whyGrant hadn’t taken Zoe on a one-on-one, Grant claimed their spark started later. While he claimed the connection wasn’t too late,his intense and emotional relationships with the other women would interfere.
The lead claims that his feelings for Zoe are somewhere in between “like” and “falling in love.”
This comment doesn’t feel promising. Grant has a pre-established attachment to Litia and Juliana. Even if he and Zoe forged a late connection, their progress is too slow.The Bachelorshould be sure of his decisions at this point. He will need to either accept their incompatibility or embrace their emotional challenges. He and Zoe’s future is not looking too bright.
