Final Fantasy 14 Cloud of Darkness Is A Hard Raid

This Is End-Game Level Hard Mode

The new raid inFinal Fantasy 14is intended to push players to their limits. It is difficult to fight in a raid and even moredifficult to coordinate within a 24-player alliance raid. The role requirements are at least two tanks, two healers, and four DPS. Players can always fight the raid with fewer players or outside an alliance, but the difficulty level doesn’t scale down. Anyone attempting to do it this way should know the odds are stacked against them.

Final Fantasy 14 Might Just Have A League Of Legends Crossover According To One Lead Developer At Square Enix

A lead developer at Square Enix expressed their interest in finding a way to crossover Final Fantasy 14 and their favorite game, League of Legends.

There isn’t a reward for using any less than 24 players needed for the raid. The gear rewards offered to players will remain the same regardless of how the raid is beaten. Itemlevel 730 gear is being rewarded from coffers after finishing this raid. These coffer rewards are determined by the player’s current class or job when the chest is opened.

Our Take: Don’t Be Afraid To Try the Raid Out Yourself

Some Players Feel As Though They Might Not Be Ready… But They Are!

Diving into a new raid inFinal Fantasy 14, especially one with a perceived difficulty, can seem daunting. It’s tempting to wait for guides and rely on established strategies. However, thefirst few weeks of anew high-end raid are some of the most fun the game offers. Everyone goes in blind and tries to figure out what works together. It makes every little discovery seem so much more impactful.

For anyone on the fence, I encourage you to simply find a party and try it out. No one is going to judge you for being bad at a brand-new raid because everyone is still learning. User Individual_Dig237posted on Redditabout their own anxiety about the raid, stating"I don’t want to be a burden to my team and constantly die/cause others to die. i’ll probably be doing it as a sage too."

Even with their concerns, they were met with nothing but encouragement from other players. The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s always better to get a large group of players together for any raid withinFinal Fantasy 14, or the loss can end up being avaluable lesson you learn about MMOs.
