As per the family’s claims, it was not long before they started noticing swarms of big black flies on their porch. No matter what they did to get rid of the flies, they kept coming back. However, when it comes to the character beats, the film seems to significantly change its portrayal of the people its story is based on. It attempts to add more layers to its drama by drawing parallels between Ebony’s childhood traumas and the home’s hauntings.
