This trailer, titledFulcrum,is a nod to Ahsoka’s alias used inStar Wars: Rebelsand was posted on YouTube back in 2021 byRei Kennex. Kennex is a massive Star Wars fan who wrote and starred in this concept trailer. The costumes in the trailer are brilliant, the music is absolutely perfect, and the filmmaking that went into this project was top-tier.
Rei Kennex did a fantastic job portraying Ahsoka. She captured her heart as well as her “snippiness.” This trailer showcases what makes Ahsoka the amazing character she is and focuses on a part of Ahsoka’s timeline that has not yet been explored inStar Warsmedia.

Ahsoka’s time as the rebel agent “Fulcrum” is still shrouded in mystery. After the events ofTales of the Jedi,Ahsoka joins Senator Bail Organa’s early remnants of what would become the Rebel Alliance. After that, not much is known about her time as a rebel freedom fighter before her appearance inStar Wars: Rebels. This concept trailer by Kennex shows what a storyline between her appearances inTales of the JediandRebelscould look like.

While much of Ahsoka’s story has been told in other Star Wars media, Tales of the Jedi expands more on her heroic journey.
The trailer is notable for depicting significant scenes from tie-ins, such as E.K. Johnston’sAhsokanovel. After defeating one of theImperial Inquisitors, Ahsoka took his two kyber crystals and purified them; she then used these in her lightsabers, a symbol of purification and balance. This scene in the trailer will give you goosebumps as Ahsoka’s theme plays in the background. We could have gotten this kind of scene in the last episode ofTales of the Jedi, but Kennex’s version is an excellent portrayal of the moment.
There have indeed been hints that Ahsoka had strong ties to Mandalore during the Dark Times. Sabine blamed Ahsoka for not intervening in thePurge of Mandalore, hinting she believed the planet was in danger but Ahsoka did not. What’s more,Bo-Katan was clearly aware of Ahsoka’s pursuit of Morgan Elsbeth0, suggesting the two worked together for a time.

The apprentice of Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano was an accomplished Padawan who served during the Clone Wars. Ahsoka left the Jedi after she became disillusioned with the Jedi Council, but returned to serve in the Siege of Mandalore at the end of the Clone Wars. She survived Order 66, becoming a Rebel agent during the Dark Times of the Empire’s reign, and her adventures continue in the New Republic era. Ahsoka was last seen stranded in a distant galaxy, having failed to prevent Grand Admiral Thrawn’s return.
