What’s next after The International? Here are five biggest Dota 2 tournaments to look forward to for the remainder of 2024.
The year may be winding down, but an exciting wave of high-profile Dota 2 action is still on the way. Although we are used to a longer off-season post-The International, 2024 has a different roadmap.
We’ll see five big tournaments in the following months with an exciting LAN event to close the curtains of the year. Find out all the major upcoming Dota 2 tournaments below!
Here are all teams invited to PGL Wallachia S2

Sarah “KZ” Zulkiflee
The second edition of PGL Wallachia will start on Oct. 4 until the Oct. 14! It is the first Tier 1 tournament after The International 2024 (TI13) concluded. This event will host 16 total teams, featuring those who also competed at TI. Interestingly, this event will welcome the return of Alliance and Nigma Galaxy in a Tier 1 competition!
However, due to a lack of time for teams to form new rosters properly, many teams will compete in PGL Wallachia S2 with stand-ins. These fragmented team rosters on top of the post-TI vibes will make this second PGL Wallachia event a spicy one.
BB Dacha 2024: The next big Dota 2 LAN will take place in Serbia
BB Dacha is back! A live audience of 4,000 will be able to attend the Tier 1 event in Serbia.

BetBoom Dacha will also have its follow-up event, taking place in Belgrade this time around. This event will take place only four days after the conclusion of PGL Wallachia S2, from Oct. 19 to 26. Considering the tight schedule, most teams likely remain with their current rosters and stand-ins.
DreamLeague Season 24
The next edition of DreamLeague will take place directly after BB Dacha Belgrade ends. Fortunately, DL Season 24 will occur online and teams can play from the comfort of their homes or bootcamps. This event will field 16 teams and offer the now-typical prize pool of $1 million. At the time of writing, five direct invites have yet to be unveiled.

Blast Slam I
Blast will officially enter the competitive Dota 2 scene this November! The famous organizer has announced not one, not two, but a wave of tournaments scheduled up until 2026!
The first edition will occur on November 26 and lasts until December 1. It will take place in an offline setting in Copenhagen, Denmark. ESL One Bangkok
The Dota 2 competitive season and the ESL Pro Tour will end simultaneously with the exciting ESL One Bangkok. This tournament will take place in Thailand and will feature the best 12 from Dec. 9 to 15. It is undoubtedly the most anticipated tournament in the final quarter of the year as it will feature the passionate live audience of Southeast Asia. Tickets are already on sale as we speak!

A few legendary players have taken a step back from the Dota 2 scene after the end of TI13.
