Pacific Rim’s K-Day Montage Was One Of The Coolest Parts Of The Movie

The K-Day Montage Left Audiences Wanting More

Guillermo del Toro’s masterpiece features several cool scenes, but the K-Day montage is undoubtedly one of the best scenes inPacific Rim. Since K-Day is the day that the Kaiju first attacked humanity,it isn’t surprising that careful thought and detail were included in the montage that showed how it all started. Del Toro’s creative genius can be seen in how the montage was put together.

The iconic filmmaker used TV footage to reveal how the Kaiju attacked humanity, the destruction they brought, and how the Jaeger were created to defend the planet. The fact that the K-Day montage doesn’t last long or reveal too many details about the Kaiju and Jaeger left audiences wanting more.Seeing as the K-Day montage is one of the most significant parts of the movie, it will be interesting to see if the upcomingPacific RimTV show will include something similar.
