Jess is vomiting throughout the sequence, and her death comes shortly after as her neck is cut open.
The Art the Clown actor was part of aTerrifier 3panel at the Nightmare Weekend horror convention in Richmond, Virginia and used it to confirm that this scene made him sick on set. As shared byHalloween Daily News, Thornton mentioned that he can’t stand vomit, so Aunt Jess' vomit during her death scene is what made him nearly puke himself.
