Davrin and Harding with serious expressions in Dragon Age The Veilguard.

Capricorn (Dec 22–Jan 19)

Emmrich Volkarin

A human mage who specializes in the art of necromancy, Emmrich Volkarin is one of the seven companions inDragon Age: The Veilguard. Emmrich is a member of aDragon Agefactioncalled the Mourn Watch, an elite guardian of the Grand Necropolis.

Emmrich’s dedication to the Mourn Watch is an admirable trait of Capricorns in the 12 zodiacs. Disciplined and level-headed,Emmrich is a kind scholar who seeks to help others and offer practical solutions or suggestions. This is the nature of the Capricorn, and many find Capricorns helpful as a result. This makes a Capricorn a helpful, kind, and tender companion.

Aquarius (Jan 20–Feb 18)

Davrin

A Grey Warden, Davrin and his griffon, Assan, join the party inDragon Age: The Veilguard. He is a charming warrior, one who is not afraid to back downand is actually quite bold. Clearly an animal lover, Davrin is very devoted and loyal to Assan.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Should Harding Or Davrin Lead The Distraction?

During Dragon Age: The Veilguard’s late-game quest “Isle of Gods,” how the player divides up their party could make all the difference.

Davrin cares about animals and people, making him somewhat of a humanitarian like many Aquarius. Not to mention, his charming personality makes him quite social, but like an Aquarius, he is an independent individual.

Pisces (Feb 19–March 20)

Morrigan

Morrigan is a Witch of the Wilds. She first appeared inDragon Age: Origins, and she has served as a companion to the Warden inOrigins. Though she has quite a reputation, she has become an all-around fan favoriteDragon Agecharacter, who unfortunatelycannot be romanced inThe Veilguard. At first, while Morrigan might seem furthest from a Pisces, the two actually have quite a bit in common. Morrigan is more complex than she initially makes herself out to be.

Both Pisces and Morrigan are intuitive people, having a certain charm to their character that makes them likable people. However, this charm can also frustrate others, adding to the complexity of their character. Andwhile Morrigan might seem rough on the outside and a little cold, upon knowing her more closely, she is a passionate person, demonstrating vulnerability inDragon: Age Inquisitionwith her own son. A much more emotional and compassionate figure than originally seen, Morrigan has a lot more in common with Pisces than expected.

Aries (March 21–April 19)

Varric Tethras

Dwarven rogue Varric Tethras is an easy-going and charming character in theDragon Ageseries. First appearing inDragon Age 2, Varric made a comeback as a companion inDragon Age: Inquisition. Despite having a somewhat tragic and rough background, that doesn’t stop the charismatic joker.

Much like the troublesome and adventurous Varric, Aries are known to be loyal friends, and their genuineness can be seen through their smiles. Both Varric and Aries have a sense of humor, andboth step into the role of leadership when absolutely necessary. A good friend at heart, Aries and Varric are wonderful, loyal friends, through thick and thin.

Taurus (April 20–May 20)

Lace Harding

A much more important character inDragon Age: The Veilguard, Lace Harding is a dwarven scout and a strong-headed woman, lacking any delicacy and gentleness that her mother had dreamed her to possess.

Much like other characters,Lace is loyal to her friends and team, which is a strong trait of firm Tauruses. But nothing beats the fierce loyalty that Lace has to the people she cares about. Not only that, but like a Taurus, Lace is practical, proving that she is a capable comrade. There is no one like a Taurus out there, just like there is no one like Lace Harding in theDragon Ageseries.

Gemini (May 21 –June 20)

Dorian Pavus

A human mage introduced inDragon Age: Inquisition, Dorian Pavus is extremely powerful in the art of magic. His skill and power know no bounds, asDorian is quite confident in his own magical ability, though this makes him seem rather condescending and snobbish.

Both witty and charming, Dorian is like a Gemini, who are known for their rather charming qualities. Adventurous in all aspects of life, Gemini don’t mind a bit of playful banter, and they adapt easily in life. Dorian is the same way, and he is also quick-witted, like Geminis.

Cancer (June 21–July 22)

Bellara Lutare

Both bold and fearless, Bellara Lutare is an elven woman who is known as a Veil Jumper, one who is intrigued by the ancient elven ruins. She is one of the seven companions in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

Cancers, much like Bellara, are a creative bunch of individuals. Not to mention, both are protective of those they know and care for, willing to go the extra mile to protect those they love and cherish. While Bellara tends to be shy, she is in tune with her emotions, making her intuitive like a Cancer. This makes Bellara and Cancers genuine and compassionate.

Leo (July 23–Aug 22)

Taash

A Qunari dragon hunter, Taash is one of seven companions fromDragon Age: The Veilguard. They are a warrior of the Lords of Fortune, making them a fiery and strong-headed companion that joins Rook.

Leos are known commanders of fire; they are a sign of the sun, trailblazing in the new world. Much like Taash,Leos are headstrong, and they are usually the center of attention. Since Taash is incredibly knowledgeable, like Leos, it makes sense that they are the center of input and output, putting their words so bluntly that it’s hard to get any point misconstrued. Taash is a bold companion, not afraid of the risks necessary, which is similar to the confidence of a Leo.

Virgo (Aug 23–Sep 22)

Solas

Solas is a character originating fromDragon Age: The Inquisition, being the Inquisitor’s former companion, and he is as thoughtful and analytic as they come. InDragon Age: The Veilguard, he has plans to destroy the Veil.

Virgos are analytical, similar to Solas, andhis connection to the emotional world makes him a humble and patient elven man who takes the time to make sure things go according to plan. Perhaps a bit misguided, as Virgos can sometimes be, Solas remains a thoughtful person. Both Virgos and Solas do not believe there to be a right or wrong way to do things, as their intellect dictates, but they are dedicated to their own causes.

Libra (Sept 23–Oct 22)

Neve Gallus

A human Tevinter mage, Neve works as a private investigator, and Rook’s party seeks her out to help them locate Solas inDragon Age: The Veilguard. She is one of seven companions inThe Veilguard.

Though cynical at times,Neve is an intelligent mage who fights for a better future, which includes fighting for justice, like a Libra does. As a fighter who seeks justice, this makes Neve fair, like Libras, and though she prefers to work in private, this does not mean she’s not social. In fact, her social skills and clever ability as a detective give reason to her good reputation. Libras are the same in this regard.
